ABSTRACT Cesarean scar pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy. Similar to other ectopic pregnancies, it poses a great risk for maternal hemorrhage and ultimately maternal mortality. Diagnosis and treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy has become a challenge for contemporary obstetrics. Here, we report a case of cesarean scar pregnancy that was treated via hysterotomy and evacuation of pregnancy.
