Abstract

ABSTRACT Elephantiasis is long standing lymphedema due to obstruction of lymphatics. Wuchereria bancrofti is the most common causative organism. Female genital elephantiasis is exceptionally uncommon.We present a case of a 34-year-old woman who came with increasing swelling in right side of genital region over a duration 12 years, diagnosed to have vulvar elephantiasis of filarial origin which was managed surgically.
