Abstract

ABSTRACT OHVIRA syndrome formerly known as Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome is an acronym for Obstructed Hemi-vagina & Ipsilateral Renal Anomaly. Uterine anomalies are consistent finding in OHVIRA syndrome with uterine didelphys being most common (77%) followed by Bicornuate uterus (11.5 %). The overall incidence of OHVIRA syndrome is only 0.1 to 3.8% and the incidence of OHVIRA syndrome with bicornuate uterus is even lower, i.e. 0.01 to 0.43%. Diagnosis of this rare entity relies mostly on MRI. Here we report such a very rare case of OHVIRA syndrome associated with bicornuate uterus.
