Abstract

ABSTRACT: Although snake envenomation is relatively common in developing countries, it is a rare sight in pregnancy as women are generally indoor workers. A rare case of snake bite in pregnancy with neurological manifestation with stress on its diagnosis and management has been discussed. Although generally associated with poor outcomes, our case had a good outcome because of institution of timely care.  Keywords: Snake bite, pregnancy, respiratory failure, anti-snake venom
