Sepsis is a leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality globally. Incidence is rising in both low-/middle-income countries (LMICs) and high-income countries (HICs). Due to the changed physiology during pregnancy, recognition and treatment both are difficult. Although there are clear protocols for the management of sepsis in nonpregnant population but there is still lack of evidence in management protocols of maternal sepsis.
