Abstract

Ocular changes in pregnancy are common, but usually benign and temporary. Usual severe ocular changes are usually secondary to pre-eclampsia and its complications. Also sudden blindness, swelling of eyes with proptosis are quite rare in pregnancy. They occur as complications to other conditions that happen during pregnancy and not because of pregnancy itself. However, the physiological changes in pregnancy can exacerbate it. Here, we present two interesting cases with visual complaints during pregnancy.
