Methods: Participants were 29 postmenopausal women between 49 – 64 years of age, who visited outpatient clinic due to vaginal dryness, recurrent vaginitis and/or dyspareunia ongoing for at least 3 months. Efficacy of treatment is assessed by the patient herself using the questionnaire. Assessments done at baseline (just before the PRP injection), and 6 months after the injection of PRP. Results: Promising improved effect of PRP on postmenopausal vaginal atrophy in patients’ assessment. Conclusion: Application of cellular therapy in the form of autologous PRP is a promising novel therapy to treat various vaginal conditions related to menopausal estrogenic deficiency.
