Abstract

Ectrodactyly or cleft hand is rare ectodermal abnormality seen either alone or in combination with other disorders. Inheritance is mostly autosomal dominant. However, familial cases are very rare. The early ultrasound diagnosis of such malformations can help parents take better decisions. Surgical correction of such malformations help functional betterment of the hand.
